O software educativo “Feche a caixa” e o campo conceitual de estruturas aditivas

The constant technological improvements and the understanding that the school has and important role in the formation of the citizen lead us to question how the majority of the public school’s students shows difficulties in mathematical knowledge are being guided to use the information and communication technologies (ICT), that is becoming increasingly important in the current society. This monograph relates an investigation which had the application of an educating software called “Feche a Caixa” as motivation and didactic resort which brings possibilities of working the student’s mathematical difficulties in the primary school. There were enforced two exercises: the first one verified level of the student’s previous knowledge about the additional structures’ conceptual field: addition and subtraction, and the second one attempt to compare if there were any improvement in the understanding and resolution of the problems situations. The results showed that this game can become an important tool, for, which is fun and motivated the students, and made easier the apprenticeship of the conceptual field of the additional structures.Os constantes avanços tecnológicos e a compreensão de que a escola tem importante papel na formação do cidadão levaram-nos a questionar como o aluno da escola pública, que numa maioria apresenta dificuldade na aprendizagem dos conhecimentos matemáticos, está sendo orientado para utilizar as Tecnologias da Informação e da Comunicação (TIC), cada vez mais presentes na sociedade atual. Este trabalho relata uma investigação que teve como fio condutor investigar o envolvimento dos alunos numa prática que possibilita tornar as aulas de matemática mais motivadoras através do software educativo, como ferramenta do ensino, verificando a contribuição do jogo “Feche Caixa” como mediador no estudo do campo conceitual de estruturas aditivas. Foram aplicados dois exercícios: o primeiro verificou o nível de conhecimento prévio dos alunos acerca das operações do campo conceitual de estruturas aditivas (adição e subtração); e o segundo buscou comparar se havia tido melhora na compreensão e resolução das situações problemas. Os resultados evidenciaram que esse jogo pode tornar-se uma ferramenta eficiente, pois, divertiu e motivou os estudantes, facilitando ainda a compreensão do campo conceitual de estruturas aditivas
